Michigan 15th May 2014

Today we started heading North into Michigan State. Along the way we stopped off at Waterloo State Recreational Area which is West of Detroit. We managed to pick a few quality species here that we hadn't seen in the first three days at Magee Marsh. These included Cerulean Warbler (stuck right up in the canopy of some huge trees), Hooded Warblers, Acadian Flycatcher, Yellow-throated Vireo and heard-only Wood Thrush. At another rest stop further North we came across a singing Pine Warbler. Overnighted in the small town of Grayling. A few pics of a Black-billed Cuckoo that showed quite well at Magee from a few days ago also.
